Stantec Head of HR Client Services (Operations) in Warrington, United Kingdom

The Opportunity

Stantec UK & Ireland (UK&I) is a rapidly growing business, through acquisitions and organic growth. Reporting to the HR Director UKI, you will lead a growing team of 10+ HR professionals spread across the UK.

You will play a key role supporting the growth of our business, through flawless employee relations, business partnering and strategic thinking. You will carefully balance operational expertise and efficiency with the coaching and development of your wider team.

You will deliver key HR initiatives that are aligned with the business strategy, preparing the organisation for growth at every step. You will support and lead the business on employee relations issues and provide guidance on complex HR issues through coaching, negotiation, and resolution.

We operate a hybrid work arrangement where you will be expected to work a minimum of 3 days a week in our Warrington office.

About You

You are a proven senior HR leader, having worked in large matrix, complex, and growing organisations. Holding a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources Management, Business, Social Sciences, or a related discipline you will bring proven mergers and / or acquisitions experience, coupled with organisational design theory. You will have led teams of HR professionals and have a strong track record of exemplary delivery of HR client services (operational HR).

You build effective partnerships with Executive Leadership Teams to engage, influence and challenge at all levels. You are client focussed with the ability to translate concepts and business strategy into plan and execution. You can interpret data and metrics to identify trends and/or potential issues to form and communicate insights.

Any exposure to Oracle HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) Systems is highly regarded.
