Description
Stantec Architecture, Inc., Interior Designer (Multiple Positions), Philadelphia, PA. Conceptualize and develop interior design from both a functional and aesthetic perspective in concert with a client’s requirements, budget, and program. Develop the interior design through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats to express the design intent and coordinate with Interior Design Lead or Project Designer. Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies in the development of three-dimensional models of interiors and their components. Ensure design complies with building codes, ADA guidelines and LEED per project type and requirements. Develop interior design in accordance with cost parameters and ensures interior design intent is maintained through documentation and construction. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). #GTM
Qualifications
Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field, and 4 years of related work experience; OR a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Utilizing Revit in development of 3-D models of buildings and their components; Developing space planning, block planning, and adjacency diagrams in coordination with building program; Evaluating and selecting building systems and materials; and Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUP, Newforma, Enscape and Sefaira.
Must have NCIDQ Certification (National Council for Interior Design Qualification).
Telecommuting permitted 2 days a week.
Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 10%.
