Your Opportunity

You will contribute to water and wastewater treatment projects of varying size and complexity under the guidance of a Project Controls Manager. You will be responsible for applying your basic knowledge in primavera for schedule development and updates, cost control, change management and risk management for use on assigned projects. You will also support the estimating efforts for design proposals.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Track and coordinate the progress of a project to ensure that the project is on-track by developing and maintaining detailed schedules.

  • Evaluate and update Cost reports, Earned Value reports and labor productivity reports to ensure the project is on track.

  • Analyze project risks and recommend solutions to Project Managers.

  • Interface directly with the Project Managers to support setting up and tracking the projects in terms of schedule development, cost reports, earned value reports change management reports and a risk register.

  • Ability to forecast manpower and willingness to learn new tools/systems and processes.

  • Interface with management to provide required reports and analysis.

  • Support Revenue forecast and invoicing on jobs.

  • Coordinate with the proposal leads to support estimating efforts in terms of developing the required estimates, schedules and other details as required.

  • Determine project forecasts and monitor cash flow projections.

  • Implement change requests in a timely manner and oversee change order management.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Maintain positive working relationship with the management, project manager and the project team.

  • Demonstrate skills in the management of project schedule, cost control and estimating.

  • Thorough understanding of project controls concepts.

  • Advanced oral and written communication skills.

  • Requires understanding of MS office.

  • 2-5 years of experience in Primavera preferred.

  • Requires 2-5 years of experience in preparing cost and earned value reports.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related field) from an ABET accredited university preferred.

  • 2-5 years of related project controls experience.

Typical office environment, working with computers for long periods of time. Flexibility to work remotely or in the local office.
