Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Program Manager to join the Environmental Services team in our Southern California Area in either of our Thousand Oaks, Pasadena, Ventura, or Paramount office.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will be the single point of contact to ensure all contract terms and conditions and expected performance measures are delivered.

  • Responsible for ensuring adherence to project delivery processes.

  • Geologic and Engineering standards and all applicable processes are followed to successfully deliver the portfolio of work.

  • Oversee and manage the development of project scope and budget and oversight of project technical requirements.

  • Ensure accuracy of project controls reporting, ensure proper project staffing and managing the development and reporting of KPIs.

  • Sustain and develop business opportunities and maintain positive relationships with the client.

  • Develop, maintain, and execute program management plan, including preparing forecasts of program revenue.

  • Develop, and/or participate in development of proposals for engineering services on a project by project basis.

  • Oversee project managers, geologists, engineers, and teams responsible for the development of site investigation and remediation paradigms, remedial engineering designs, reports and documents.

  • Ensure financial reports are prepared and submitted to the client as needed.

  • Oversee the receipt of purchase orders and project set up.

  • Develop project organization and staffing assignments.

  • Review and approve billing reports before preparation of invoices.

  • Report to the Account Manager on contract performance.

  • Ensure compliance with project plan and procedures.

  • Reinforce corporate quality and safety standards.

  • Oversee the implementation of corporate quality and safety standards into the projects.

  • Oversee and coordinate the preparation of investigative and engineering work scope and cost estimations.

  • Function as designated contract liaison with client on project contract performance and delivery.

  • Perform quality assurance function for work products before they are submitted to clients.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Experience managing project portfolios with capital expenditures in excess of $8-10M.

  • Work in the environmental services and on brownfields grant bases projects including government, and oil and gas, and industrial/municipal industries.

  • Supervision of 5-10 project managers and project geologic and engineering staff.

  • Extensive experience with working with public sector, city and county clients within federal/state/county/city regulatory jurisdictions.

  • Good driving record and valid driver’s license

Education and Experience

  • Geologic, Engineering, or Science Degree

  • Minimum 15 years of engineering experience.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s):

Salary Range(s):

  • CA Other Areas $112,300 - CA Other Areas $168,500 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CA (SF Area includes SF, SJS & WLC)

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
