Your Opportunity

Our Energy and Telecommunications group in our Ottawa, ON office has a new opportunity for a Site Inspector. This is a great opportunity for those who are looking to grow and advance their career in a thriving multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise civil engineering work related to outside plant

  • Ensure that the work executed meets contractual documents, established plans, and client needs

  • Apply the Company’s systems requirements as well as those of its clients (Various municipalities, MTQ, etc.)

  • Coordinate activities with other disciplines

  • Provide technical support to colleagues and clients

  • Validate shop drawings and technical files

  • Attend technical meetings with the project team

  • Help prepare call for tender documents

  • Collaborate on quality management system maintenance and development

Requirements

  • College diploma in engineering or any other relevant discipline

  • 3-5 years’ experience supervising civil engineering works in the telecom, municipal, or roadway fields, or related to concrete civil engineering structures

  • Excellent command of French and English (oral and written)

  • Good proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software

  • Quick learner

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD software (asset)

  • Proficiency with Civil 3D software (asset)

  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle

  • ASP Construction card

  • First Aid and Confined Spaces training (asset)
