We are currently seeking an NEC Site Supervisor to join us. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of projects, across various technical disciplines with clients across country. These projects can include HVDC, interconnectors, windfarms, substations, OHL, geotechnical solutions, building design, protection systems, LVAC, FEED, new builds, refurbishment works, connections schemes etc.

As an NEC Site Supervisor, you will supervise site based construction and pre construction activities for our clients including National Grid, liaising between site, the project manager and design teams. You will maintain, comply with and promote high Health and Safety standards. You will manage subcontractors and assist the team and clients in innovative solutions and problem solving.

You will assist in the management of change on a project, monitor the programme and manage the completion of and monitor the qulity of works. You will ensure approved drawings are used for construction

About You

You will be a pro-active individual with some knowledge and understanding of the electricity transmission and distribution industry. You will have the capability to coach and work within the wider energy team. You will be engaged in the engineering community and understand how we can drive success for our clients, including understanding innovative solutions and industry best practices.

You will have some site based supervision experience that covers the ‘job role ‘ areas and have completed the NEC4 ECC supervisor accreditation.

We are particularly interested in anyone who has good knowledge of National Grid's Transmission procedures and has thorough knowledge and experience applying National Grids Technical Specification, Technical Guidance Notes, and Design Handbooks relating to civil/structural engineering of electricity T&D infrastructure in the UK.

An understanding of the causes and consequences of Impressed Voltage is preferable.
