Your Opportunity

As the successful candidate, you will use your technical abilities to plan and design all aspects of wastewater infrastructure systems in a design team setting. You will utilize your strong communication skills, both oral and written, to inform the decision-making process and document assumptions, methods, results, and conclusions. This is a work environment where your abilities will strengthen and grow through a diverse range of projects focused on the delivery of water, wastewater and stormwater solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

Support of project manager and project engineers in water and wastewater projects by assisting with

  • Project delivery

  • Design calculations

  • Preparation of construction documents

  • Report writing

  • Permitting assistance

  • Construction engineering support

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Technical knowledge in water, sewer and drainage projects is plus.

  • Experience in the use of MS Project and MS Office.

  • Familiarity with ArcGIS Mapping, AutoCAD and MS Access Database a plus.

  • Candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and projects.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited university.

  • EIT Certification

  • One (1) to three (3) years work related experience.

Salary Range(s):

  • CA Other Areas $33.46 Per Hour - CA Other Areas $46.88 Per Hour Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CA (SF Area includes SF, SJS & WLC)

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
