Your day to day at Stantec

Working from home and/or at one of our Montreal offices, you will oversee acoustic studies for projects in various fields such as environmental, mechanical, architectural, transportation, etc. More specifically, as a project manager, you will have to:

  • Carry out from A-to-Z acoustic studies (architectural, industrial noise, sound insulation, as well as environmental noise including road, rail or air noise).

  • Coordinate with technicians for the installation of sound level meters; carry out and analyze sound surveys.

  • Perform calculations, modeling, design of noise reduction measures.

  • Write and approve technical reports and/or specifications.

  • Write and approve technical reports, quotations; proposals and service offers.

  • Establish and maintain contacts with clients.

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree (in mechanical/building engineering or other) or professional degree.

  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or able to become one.

  • 5 years’ experience in acoustical consulting engineering.

Your keys to success

  • Ability to manage several projects in parallel.

  • Knowledge of Autocad (asset).

  • Autonomous, diligent and responsible.

  • Available to travel occasionally throughout Quebec.

  • Bilingual, French and English (asset).

  • Possess a driver's license.

  • Have access to a car (asset).
