We provide a comprehensive array of services across water infrastructure projects encompassing innovative conceptual planning, investigations and feasibility studies, preliminary designs, detailed designs, construction support, commissioning support, and advisory services in the water resources, dams, asset management, potable water, wastewater and treatment sectors.

Our water group has secured multiple long-term contracts with key water authority clients across Australia and locally in Victoria, and we have a strong pipeline of significant career-defining major projects. This has created a great opportunity for Senior Project Managers with a passion and drive for delivering water infrastructure solutions to join our Victorian Water Group.

In this role you will:

  • Work closely with our team of experienced engineers, design managers and other project managers to continue our excellent project delivery track record.

  • Successfully deliver complex water projects, working within high performing interdisciplinary teams and contributing to the financial success of our business.

  • Within our Project Delivery team, contribute to decision making and challenge how our projects are being delivered.

  • Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals.

  • Develop strong working relationships with our clients, through the delivery of valuable business solutions.

To be successful for this role you'll need:

  • One of:

o Project Management qualifications/certifications (e.g. Project Management Professional) or working towards the attainment of this, or

o Experience in the management of projects in a consulting environment.

  • Technical understanding of water infrastructure projects including some or all of the following:

o Water and sewerage networks.

o Water and wastewater treatment plants.

o Water resources projects.

o Dams and pumped hydro infrastructure.

  • Preferably, you will have a tertiary qualification in engineering, but this is not essential.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a high level of financial competency.

  • Strong ability to prioritise tasks and multi-task to ensure deadlines are achieved.

  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with clients to meet their objectives.

  • Ideally experience in leading multidisciplinary teams in a consulting environment.

  • Experience with the project management of design-and-construct projects would be well regarded.
