Your opportunity

Our London office is actively seeking Transportation Technologists to join our group providing consulting services for Class Environmental Assessment, Preliminary Design, and Detail Design projects for public sector clients, including the Ministry of Transportation Ontario and several Ontario Southwest municipalities.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Transportation Technologist in our London Transportation Group, you will be involved in the planning and design of provincial highways, interchanges, and local municipal roads. You will be responsible for assisting in the following areas:

  • Preparing engineering drawings and plans using industry standard drafting principles;

  • Documenting existing transportation conditions based on interpretation of survey plans and field reconnaissance;

  • Identifying existing transportation deficiencies based on current design standards;

  • Planning, preliminary design and detail design of transportation improvement projects; and

  • Preparing content for reports and proposals.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Self-motivated individual possessing strong written and verbal communication skills;

  • Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy;

  • Works well in a team environment;

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook;

  • Working knowledge of transportation engineering related software such as AutoCad/Civil 3-D is required, and experience with InRoads is desired.

Education and Experience

Post-secondary diploma in Civil Engineering Technology. We will consider applicants that have recently graduated and those with up to 10 years’ experience for these positions.
