Our team includes Contaminant Hydrogeologists, Risk Assessment specialists, Environmental Engineers and a host of other specialties that focus on the investigation, assessment, remediation and redevelopment of contaminated sites. At Stantec, we are focused on the communities we live in, and our Environmental Site Investigation and Remediation practice is dedicated to the goal of maximizing the successful and economically appropriate use of the land resources our clients are engaged with. We are seeking Two Senior Site Assessors to work with our Environmental Site Investigation and Remediation practice in our London, Waterloo, Mississauga, Markham or Ottawa offices.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a key senior practitioner working on contaminated sites in Ontario you will provide technical and client management expertise on a variety of projects including development and implementation of work programs and management of schedules, budgets and client deliverables relating to Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), Phase II ESA, remediation programs, and hydrogeological investigations.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • A strong aptitude for client management

  • Excellent communication, teamwork and mentorship skills

  • A strong affinity for teamwork, training and mentoring junior staff

  • Superior and demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

  • Promote a strong health and safety culture and actively participate in Stantec’s Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) Program

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 20 years of related contaminated site management experience with particular emphasis on industrial and brownfield properties

  • P.Geo. or P.Eng. registration is a requirement for this position
