Join a Top 10 global design firm in our Buildings practice that provides Architecture, Buildings Engineering and Interior Design services with a long history and deep commitment to the communities we work in. We are currently seeking Project Architects to join the team.

We are currently looking for our next generation of leaders to work across international borders whilst remaining in the UK. We have several large and complex live commissions that require experienced post Part 3 Project Architects. You will work within a sector dedicated team in London or Reading but be connected daily to colleagues in one of our many offices in North America or the Middle East or both.

As a major contributor on our professional Architecture team you will work independently to assist clients through the planning and creation of fiscally responsible, award-winning health science and technology designs. Your experience ensures that you are quite familiar with construction plans, specifications, estimates and building codes.

You will be innovative and creative, working with prototypes designs and/or developing unique concepts from sustainable products with green architecture sensibility as your goals. You will lead the development of integrated design proposals, continuous updating of a building information model, preparing a variety of output / drawings throughout the project, while leading and mentoring others and collaborating with team members to contribute to the final deliverables as required under instruction from the Project Leader.

ABOUT YOU

Ideally you will have a bachelor’s degree, in Architecture and be a registered Architect or actively pursuing licensure. You will preferably have a passion for and experience in health, education and or science and technology sectors.

You will have construction document / construction detailing experience and requisite knowledge and application of accessibility codes, applicable building codes/regulations.

You will have strong understanding of all phases of architectural document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications as well as knowledge of building construction systems, means and methods, materials, and industry standards.

You will have an understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, AutoCAD, Abobe Creative Suite, SketchUP, and Newforma.
