Your Opportunity

Stantec Consulting Services Inc. is actively seeking a Senior Planner to join our Transportation Planning and Traffic Engineering team in the Louisville or Lexington, Kentucky office!

This is a part-time position with the potential to grow to full-time hours if desired. As a senior transportation planner, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of planning and design projects as an integral team member. The ideal candidate has superior technical writing skills capable of developing reports and grant applications.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Assist Stantec in developing grant applications for a variety of transportation projects, including for grant programs in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA).

• Writing and reviewing technical reports to clearly document the study process and results.

• May assist in the preparation of proposals and other marketing endeavors.

• Ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovation

• Effective in building and maintaining client relationships

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Planning or Civil Engineering.

• Minimum 15 years of experience

Typical office environment working with computers. Some travel may be required to attend client meetings.
