This is your chance to join a dynamic and evolving team of modellers in inthe South at a number of locations, providing support across a number ofprojects. We are currently seeking Modeller in our High Wycombe, Cardiff,and London offices.

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Hydraulic Modeller tojoin our dynamic and growing Clean Water Networks Team.This role is an excellent opportunity for amotivated candidate to broaden their experience and thrive in an environmentwhere there is plenty of opportunity to develop.You will be involved in the delivery of arange of projects and services to our UK clients, through activities includingthe following:

·Creation,verification and maintenance of hydraulic models (including planning andoverseeing field tests).

·DataManagement and analysis of asset data for network modelling and networkmanagement.

·Use of existing hydraulicmodels for a range of needs, including design of assets, operational supportand planning.

·Use of models tounderstand system performance, design system improvements and enhancements toclean water networks, taking into account key factors including customerservice levels, resilience, growth, leakage, water quality.

·PressureManagement and Network Optimisation, at various scales from sub-DMA to largezonal schemes. This may include trialling of new software and approaches, toensure client needs are met.

·DeveloperImpact Assessment and growth studies encompassing a range of complex needs.

·Use ofmodelling and statistical analysis to investigate asset risk to enableappropriate management of water assets.

·Liaison withclients and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects to time,cost and quality.

·Preparation ofdeliverables including technical reports, hydraulic models, presentations andweb-based reporting.

About You

To besuccessful in this role you will have the following skills and experience;

·Degree qualified (or equivalent)in Civil Engineering or other relevant subject.

·An understanding ofhydraulic principals, experience in water network hydraulic modelling and modellingsoftware, (such as InfoWorks, Synergi, EPAnet, InfoWater).

·The ability to workwith large volumes of data and use analytics to spot trends and patterns, presentdata and identify solutions

·Sound working knowledge ofusing GIS tools is preferable (ARCGIS and MAPINFO) and Microsoft Office

·A focus on excellencein delivery to our clients and show commitment to continuous improvement.

·Excellent organisationalskills

·The ability tocommunicate effectively – both verbally and in writing

·Ideally, you will be workingtowards chartership of a relevant engineering institution i.e. CIWEM, ICE. Stantec willsupport employees in progressing towards their chartership.

Whilstthe primary office location will be High Wycombe, flexibility will be requiredas there could also be a need to travel to other Stantec offices, as well asclient offices, to support project delivery to our clients.
