If you are in your second or third year of study at the university studying engineering, engineering science, mathematics, statistics or related qualifications then we want you to apply for an internship with Stantec. Scope of work

The Hastings based Undergraduate Water Engineer will be a vital contributor to a range of projects delivering improved outcomes for our community including essential cyclone recovery works.

The role will include:

• Exposure to 3 Waters projects including pipelines, treatment plants (waste & water), wastewater pump stations and potable water reservoir projects.

• Contributing to a range of report preparation.

• Contributing to asset inspections and CCTV analysis.

• Developing asset renewal/upgrade programmes.

• Contributing to the successful outcome of construction projects by assisting with contract management quality control, and site observation records.

• Collating and analysing procurement data.

In addition to the above tasks, the undergraduate will have the opportunity to be involved in a range of multi-disciplinary projects with other teams in the office.

Who can apply

To be eligible to apply you must:

• Be in your second or third year of study
