Your Opportunity

Stantec Consulting, Inc. has an immediate opening for a full time CAD Technician with structural/civil engineering experience in our Fresno, Phoenix, Denver or Seattle office locations.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Organizing and maintaining a digital file database for each project using Bentley Projectwise software.

• Facilitating and ensuring the quality of the drawings and graphic work produced for the team.

• Communicating with other team members during the 3D model and plan production.

• Understanding Projectwise file structures and modifications to files for exchanges with other team members.

• Creating and understanding custom templates using MicroStation software

• Ensure CAD standards and styles, quality assurance and quality control procedures are followed during drawing planning and production.

• Work to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Experience with civil roadway, utility, and rail projects highly desirable.

• Proficiency in either AutoCAD Civil 3D/REVIT or Microstation (Bentley training will be provided if required).

• Strong attention to detail and presentation.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a “team player” approach to design and problem solving.

• Ability to work within a team, sharing workloads to meet deadlines.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products.

Education and Experience

• Associates or Technical Degree

• 5 years of CAD experience

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s):

Salary Range(s):

• $30.19 Per Hour - $43.80 Per Hour Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CO and HI

• $32.40 Per Hour - $46.97 Per Hour Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in WA

• CA Other Areas $30.19 Per Hour - CA Other Areas $43.80 Per Hour Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CA (SF Area includes SF, SJS & WLC)

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
