Thanks to our reputation in the market, our pipeline of work has continued to grow and so we are looking to appoint a Wastewater Network Modeller to join us in Exeter. We can offer working from home and flexible working arrangements, a strong pipeline of projects to work on and a great benefits package.

You will be working as part of an interdisciplinary team made up of 80 personnel from Stantec, across 8 UK offices and a team in Pune, along with our clients and consultant/contractor partners, collaborating to deliver projects throughout the UK & Ireland. This is a great opportunity to join an ambitious and innovative team of engineers, working on a specialist modelling framework whilst contributing to industry leading projects.

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this opportunity you must be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, or other relevant subject, and be a member of an industry relevant institution e.g. ICE, CIWEM. You will have previous experience leading projects in an urban drainage environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate technical experience covering a wide range of urban drainage modelling activities and a full working knowledge of InfoWorks ICM.

You will provide guidance, training, and promote staff development and wellbeing within the discipline. You will assist with bids and the preparation of cost estimates within our project frameworks. The role will involve taking part in the planning, programming, and coordinating of urban drainage projects while ensuring delivery excellence, technical governance and best practices are upheld. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills through report writing, developing and delivering presentations (external and internal), and making contacts in the industry.

The successful candidate will have experience in the management and development of staff as well as the ability to integrate well into a team and provide technical leadership to other modelling staff as a leader in an urban drainage environment with an excellent client service focus.
