Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking an IT Procurement Analyst, to join our Procurement Team. The team is seeking a unique individual with Administrative/Procurement work experience, who has strong organizational, multi-tasking and communication skills and who is extremely detail oriented. This individual will assist with various purchasing duties within the Procurement Team, which is responsible for the procurement of IT products and services for Stantec, corporate-wide. This role currently offers the option of hybrid work, where the incumbent can work from home most of the time.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor Relations: Working with vendors to place and track orders

  • Customer Service: Interacting with Stantec employees via phone/email/Teams

  • Organizing and maintaining electronic files and databases utilized for document control

  • Respond to quote requests and maintain internal documentation

  • Procurement of IT products and services by following processes and procedures as set by the Procurement Team

  • Assisting with the process of invoicing/coding for Finance Department

  • Working within the ServiceNow ticketing system

  • Asset management of IT products

  • Collaborating with other internal teams such as desktop support and accounts payable

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Knowledge of IT Software products is an asset

  • General understanding of software management

  • Familiarity of basic procurement skills and tools

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills both verbally and written; delivered in a professional manner

  • Strong organizational skills to plan your workload, sometimes with tight deadlines

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task

  • The ability to work independently with confidence but still part of a team atmosphere

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field is an asset

  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience.
