We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to be part of the evolution and enhancement of our Oracle application teams. The ideal candidate would have experience as a Business System Analyst, a successful history of effectively transforming business systems.
This position would primarily involve working with the IT Leadership, Application Managers, Business Analysts and Developers to gain a deep understanding of requirements; performing technical analysis & design; and collaboratively involving themselves in producing the technical requirements to guide the solution development and architecture, to meet the IT and Business needs.
The successful candidate can be based in any of our Stantec offices located in Canada.
Collaborate with other team on additional system support that is needed
Engaging with Management, Business Analysts and technical Resources, analyze business process, collect requirements and existing technologies to determine the needs of the system
Participate in designing and building/configuring of the system to meet requirements
Combining your domain experience with the Business Analysts and Technical resources to perform the following activities:
- Conduct workshops to elicit requirements
- Developing system designs and other project deliverables using confluence or Microsoft Office tools
- Assist with technology assessment and selection
- Working with Stakeholders to develop system practice documents
Efficiently executes all administrative tasks including, but not limited to; document preparation, employee correspondence, expense reporting, documentation compliance, record maintenance
Provides progress summaries to the IBA management team of project and support efforts using internal processes and tools
Assist with reporting requirements
Your Capabilities & Credentials:
Experience working in agile teams
Effective team player and collaborator
Knowledge and experience meeting requirements of ITIL, ISO 27001, GDPR would be an asset
Strong Business Analysis and System Analysis skills and abilities
Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple priorities
Able to confidently and discreetly work with confidential information
Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with multi-tasking abilities
Ability to learn new technology to support role
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Education & Experience:
Post-secondary degree, ideally related to Information Technology or Management Information Systems
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a related position
