If you are in your second or third year of study at the university studying engineering, engineering science, mathematics, statistics or related qualifications then we want you to apply for an internship with Stantec. This is the perfect opportunity to work across an exciting and broad range of projects!

Scope of work
You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects in the wastewater, drinking water and stormwater fields. You will join a team that works on infrastructure projects, not only locally, but across New Zealand and internationally.
You will be based in an office in a central location with easy walking or cycling access to many of the Dunedin suburbs. You will be living in a vibrant community where the active lifestyle thrives, with easy access for exploring New Zealand’s stunning southern mountains and lakes. With hiking, surfing, a world class stadium, wildlife, boutique breweries / bustling café scene and mountain biking on your doorstep, you won’t have to travel far to have adventures after work!
You will:
work over the entire project lifecycle, from optioneering/concept through to design and onto construction monitoring activities.
Gain exposure to project management and client management.
Join a large, nurturing, and diverse team that works on local, national and international infrastructure projects.
Collaborate with and learn from national and international industry experts.

Who can apply
To be eligible to apply you must:
Be in your second or third year of study
Preferably have a full clean current driving licence
