Stantec along with joint venture partner Ryan Hanley, are excited to have been appointed to the Irish Water Engineering Design Services Framework. The Joint Venture will support Irish Water’s Business Plan objectives up to 2027, which will see a €3.5bn investment in asset delivery across three primary portfolios: Wastewater Capital, Networks and Water Capital.

The variety in our work ensures our teams develop a broad skillset, with the opportunity to deliver projects which improve water quality, manage urban pollution and contribute to Stantec’s environmental commitments.

Along with an exciting portfolio of work, our team are also at the forefront of developing digital solutions & smart applications, led by industry recognised specialists such as Chris Digman & Elliot Gill.

Following recent bidding success, the Stantec Urban Drainage team has commenced hydraulic modelling of several sewerage systems for Irish Water. As joint partner in the “Ryan Hanley Stantec” JV, we will provide expertise on the recently secured Longford, Navan, Balbriggan Drainage Area Plans.

The commission will last for approximately 4 years and will be delivered from our Dublin office, with support from across our wider UK & Ireland teams. In line with this and other ongoing projects, we are looking for a Wastewater Network Modeller to join the team.

You will be working as part of an interdisciplinary team made up of 80 personnel from Stantec, across 8 UK offices and a team in Pune, along with our clients and consultant/contractor partners, collaborating to deliver projects throughout the UK & Ireland. ABOUT YOU

To be considered in this role, you will have experience with urban drainage modelling software and wastewater feasibility studies. You must be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or another relevant subject. You must also be working towards chartership with a relevant engineering institution i.e. Engineers Ireland, CIWEM, ICE. Working knowledge of ICM and GIS tools will be beneficial to succeed in this role.

Experience with 2D modelling, integrated urban drainage modelling, growth impact studies and option modelling would be advantageous. Most importantly, you’ll embody our values and ethos of client focus and service excellence.
