Currently we are looking to recruit a Senior Hydraulic Modeller to join us in Ireland or Northern Ireland. We can offer flexible working arrangements, a strong pipeline of projects to work on and a great benefits package.
If successful, you will join an interdisciplinary team made up of 40 personnel from Stantec across 5 UK & Ireland offices and a team in Pune, along with our clients and consultant/contractor partners, collaborating to deliver projects to our regulated water company clients. Your responsibilities will include:
Work closely with technical specialist, projects managers & framework managers to provide technical modelling expertise;
Ensure projects are delivered to cost, schedule, technical & quality standards;
Deliver a range of small projects, through to larger programmes to our clients;
Drive innovation within the discipline to develop industry leading solutions;
Assist in the mentoring & managing of more junior staff.

ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this opportunity you must be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, or other relevant subject, be a member of an industry relevant institution e.g. ICE, CIWEM and have previous experience leading projects in a water network environment.
You will demonstrate technical experience covering a wide range of water network modelling activities and a full working knowledge of InfoWorks or InfoWater modelling software, MapInfo, ArcGIS and in-house support tools. Experience in the use of Netbase is beneficial.
You will have experience in the management and development of staff, as well as the ability to integrate well into a team and provide technical leadership to other modelling staff in a water network environment with an excellent client service focus.
