Our office is looking to hire a professional Project Controls Analyst to support our growing team.
The role of Project Controls Analyst (PCA) has been established to be a valued team member with Project Managers (PMs) and Business Center Management to help ensure the successful execution projects and profitability of the company.
Your Key PMA Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Gain proficient knowledge of the Oracle Project Management Dashboard and Stantec PM Framework to become a resource for Project Managers
Support Project Managers through a variety of tasks which may include, but are not limited to:
Setting up pipeline information, project setup forms and project files
Assisting with contract preparation and submission through legal compliance review
Coordinate with subcontractors by preparing agreements, change orders, and tracking budgets
Assist in preparation and tracking of change order requests to clients
Tracking certificates of insurance both to our clients and from our subconsultants
Reviewing time and expenses charged to projects and requesting adjustments wherever necessary
Assist PMs with their monthly reports and communicate billing plans to Project Accountants
Reviewing and coding subconsultant invoices and reconciling discrepancies
Assist PMs with their estimate-to-complete
Follow Stantec’s PM Framework to assist with project management compliance and project audits
Assist Operations Manager in training Project Managers and identifying areas for improvement
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Computer experience to include Microsoft Office with proficiency in Excel
Have accounting knowledge of project profitability and how various accounting departments work within a corporation
Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, communicate well, be highly organized, detail-oriented, resourceful and dependable
Must be able to successfully work both collaboratively and independently
Must have flexibility to learn new skills
Education and Experience
Experience in an architecture firm and / or construction related company preferred
Minimum of high school diploma plus at least 7 years experience in a professional office

Hiring Salary Range: $33.70 hourly - $41.25 — Colorado locations only. The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
