Your Opportunity

Stantec's Geotechnical and Materials Engineering group provides comprehensive geotechnical and materials engineering services to our clients, ranging from field inspection and laboratory testing to analysis and design recommendations for a wide range of civil engineering projects. Our structure cultivates career growth and provides opportunities as unique as you are. Stantec's Geotechnical & Materials Team in Dartmouth, NS is seeking an Asphalt Technician to work on paving projects throughout Atlantic Canada.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Perform asphalt mix testing, including but not limited to Marshall and/or Superpave mix properties, mix designs, aggregate physical property testing, etc.

• Out of town travel is required with these positions and will be fully compensated.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Valid driver’s license

• A good work ethic

• Excellent communication skills

Education and Experience

• Experience with highway paving projects would be considered an asset.

These positions are considered seasonal employment.
