Stantec Planning Associate in Cambridge, United Kingdom

Do you have a passion for planning, shaping communities around you and a desire to work on exciting regeneration projects?

Our established Planning team in Cambridge is seeking a talented and commercially minded Planning Associate to join our growing team! This role offers a unique chance to work on a diverse range of projects across various sectors.

What you'll be doing:

  • Promote large scale industrial and commercial, residential and mixed-use, urban regeneration, infrastructure and innovation-led development, and coordinating professional teams in the preparation and submission of major planning applications.

  • Prepare and submit representations to Local Plans.

  • Conduct site appraisals and manage projects for a variety of clients.

  • Prepare planning and economic statements to support applications.

  • Assist in developing thought leadership pieces and presentations to win new business.

  • Play a key role in raising the team's profile and supporting business development across the Eastern Region.

Who you are:

  • MRTPI qualified with strong planning experience (consultancy or private sector advantageous).

  • A keen eye for detail with a knack for identifying development risks and solutions.

  • Enthusiastic about business development and networking opportunities.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.

  • A team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage a complex workload.

  • Full UK driving licence holder.
