Your Opportunity

Stantec’s Power team in Burnaby BC is currently offering exciting opportunities for Document Controller to work on a variety of substation, distribution and transmission line projects throughout North America. As part of our positive and dynamic team environment, you will be engaged in a variety of document control assignments to provide our clients with superior services. Your Key Responsibilities

  • Retrieve and submit the engineering document with transmittals, track and monitor the status, coordinate and expediate with internal/external clients and 3rd parties in order to meet milestones on project deliverables.

  • Maintain and manage all the document in Document Control subfolder under each project folder on sever.

  • Process various requests from engineering team by coordinating with internal/external clients and following internal QA/QC procedures.

  • Assist engineering teams in tracking and maintaining compliance with internal QA/QC procedure on engineering deliverables.

  • Utilizes project management systems, tools and processes to effectively conduct record management.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Proven experience in document control on projects for utilities and industrial clients. Knowledge and experience on BC Hydro projects is an asset.

  • Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PDF. Experience on Oracle, SAP, Extranet, SharePoint is an asset.

  • Well developed oral, written, facilitation and interpersonal communication, teamwork and organization skills.

Education and Experience

  • Diploma in record management, business administration or equivalent.

  • A minimum of 1 year of demonstrated experience in document control or project administration in an EPC environment.

Typical office environment working with computers; Stantec offers a flexible work environment (a hybrid model of working in the office and at home). Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s):

Salary Range(s):

  • Lower Mainland $45,200 - Lower Mainland $61,000 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in BC (Lower Mainland includes Vancouver & Burnaby)

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
