Your Opportunity

An Intern at Stantec is an emerging professional pursuing a degree in Interior Design. As a critical member of our team-based approach, Interns contribute to all phases of our project work from conceptual design to documentation & delivery. We are seeking a motivated individual with strong design and graphic skills to join our team and work on exciting projects

Your Key Responsibilities

Depending on level of experience Interns at Stantec:

  • Conducts basic interpretations of sketches, drawings, codes, building program and other similar material

  • Supports project team in development of design documentation including plans, sections, elevations, & details and evaluate material options.

  • Utilizes BIM technologies in development of three-dimensional models of buildings and their components.

  • Assists in research of concept, benchmarks, materials, typology, and precedents.

  • Assists in material and furniture selections, space planning and communication with product representatives.

Qualifications

Your Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field

  • Great team player with excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks

  • Eager to learn, good listener, curious & proactive

  • Basic understanding of Revit, Sketchup, & Adobe Creative Suite
