Description:

The role involves working on projects associated with Stormwater & Drainage, Flood Alleviation, Wastewater Networks and Water distribution networks Pumping Station, Recycling Plant. This will involve undertaking investigations, planning, designing, tendering, contract administration and construction supervising & monitoring.

This role will be based in Abu Dhabi.

Key accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to:

•\tResponsible for overall site Safety health and environment management.

•\tShall prepare site safety plan & procedures for site and implement safety policy.

•\tShall conduct safety meetings at least once every month and conduct the site safety Audit and report that to the management.

•\tHealth and safety supervisors conduct safety Training and other necessary training as fit by the management.

•\tConducts daily, weekly, and monthly safety inspections and documents them for reference. Consult with workers and management on the best approach to deliver a safe working environment for all workers.

•\tConduct risk assessment program for the site work activities.

•\tConduct Audit for the site, contractor and sub-contractor, Raise NCR, Accident, Incident Report.

•\tClient Service Management

\tInternal and external client liaison

\tAbility to build and maintain safety environment at site.

\tExperience in infra project HSE supervision Management.

•\tFollow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner.

\tComplete all work in line with Stantec Core Values and in accordance with the Stantec Quality Systems and Project Quality Procedures.

\tMaintain the health and safety environment at workplace.

•\tOther duties as requested from time to time by the Resident Engineer

Title:

HSE Officer (Infrastructure construction/Sewerage Field work)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.

• Minimum Ten (10) years of experience in a safety role.

• Experience with infrastructure construction/ Sewerage Field work.

• Certification in NEBOSH General/ Construction Certificate or equivalent, OSHAD - Qudorat official Registration

• SWS Experience is preferred
